Piano Recital

Lexi has taken piano lessons for about 6 years. Here she is performing Avalanche.

Pine Wood Derby!!!

Davis participated in his first Pine Wood Derby last Friday night.

Davis picked out the design for the car. Justin cut it out then Davis sanded and painted it. A lot of hours went into this little car.

I love the looks on their faces. (All the dads had the same looks.) At the start of the race, Justin leans over and says to me "I just hope it crosses the finish line." He was a little worried since this was his first Pine Wood Derby.

Davis' car made it to the finals! Here he is sharing all his secrets on having a fast car.

Here are the final four cars racing. Again, the excitement on their faces is priceless.

Tub Time

Welcome Baby Dax!

We have a new addition to our home! Dax J Woodward was born February 9th at 12:39. He weighed in at 8 pounds 11 ounces and was 20 inches long.

We are so grateful to have another healthy baby boy!

Can you see the relief that came over me after the delivery? Sooo glad to be done!



We had a wonderful delivery crew. My doctor was out for the day, so we had the "on-call" doctor, Dr. Wardell. He had a 3rd year medical student with him on that day and asked if she could assist on the delivery, which was fine with us.

Dawson had a cold, so he had to wear this mask. Dawson has been very helpful. He is quick to get me whatever I need. He also loves to get his doctor kit and play with him. Davis is pretty proud of his new brother. He makes sure that he holds him every day.



The kids had a great time with Grandma Patty. She, of course, brought oodles of projects and stuff for my kids to do. They loved it.

Here is Dax getting his first sponge bath at home. Dawson and Brooklyn were all over this. One of Brooklyn's favorite thing to do is pick out his outfit for the day.




Grandma Joan came up when Grandma Patty went home. We had a lot of fun. My mom was very busy making me burp clothes and a blanket. Thanks mom!
