Pine Wood Derby!!!

Davis participated in his first Pine Wood Derby last Friday night.

Davis picked out the design for the car. Justin cut it out then Davis sanded and painted it. A lot of hours went into this little car.

I love the looks on their faces. (All the dads had the same looks.) At the start of the race, Justin leans over and says to me "I just hope it crosses the finish line." He was a little worried since this was his first Pine Wood Derby.

Davis' car made it to the finals! Here he is sharing all his secrets on having a fast car.

Here are the final four cars racing. Again, the excitement on their faces is priceless.
